  • Kevin Beard

    Executive Vice President of Recruiting

    Kevin Beard is Executive Vice President for Recruiting for Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. Kevin and his team recruit new advisors and super OSJs to the broker-dealer and provide assistance to current advisors in support of their recruiting efforts. Career Summary Prior to joining Royal Alliance in 2009, Kevin served as Regional Director at Rehmann Group, where he was responsible for recruiting and acquisition of wealth management firms, as well as developing strategies on the distribution of platforms within other CPA firms and broker-dealers. In 2007 Kevin co-founded Innovative Advanced Resources, a company that assisted high net-worth advisors, registered investment advisors and asset managers with their distribution needs. As managing partner, he was instrumental in implementing business development initiatives and marketing the firm’s core products and services. In 2007 Kevin established Beard Management, where he provided business development resources to broker-dealers and financial services firms. From 2001 to 2007, he was senior field vice president for Pacific Select Group (PSG) and director of business development (PSG) where he was successful in recruiting hundreds of financial advisors with more than $125 million in gross dealer concessions to the firms. In addition to serving as the lead business development manager at PSG, Kevin also developed and managed the business development process and team, and he directed marketing and public relations programs. Background Kevin attended Kent State University and holds the series 7, 24 and insurance licenses. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) Northeast Ohio Chapter and the FSI.

  • Jeff Planty

    Senior Vice President Of Business Development

    Jeff Planty is Senior Vice President of Business Development for Royal Alliance Associates, Inc, where he has responsibility for Royal’s national Business Development team and works with field managers to provide unique business ideas, tools and strategies that focus on increasing productivity and efficiency. Business Development acts as a conduit for communications, training and marketing ideas as well as the implementation of business management and development tools. Jeff also works closely with Recruiting and Advisory Services as well as the Product Partners. He also handles the Northern Region of Royal managers. Prior to his role in Business Development, Jeff led the Royal Alliance Operations department and also worked in various Operational management roles for Advisor Group. Background Jeff has been with Royal Alliance/Advisor Group for 23 years in various Operational roles. He has 35 years of financial service experience and began his career at Pershing. Jeff attended New York City Community College and is FINRA 99 licensed.

  • Dmitry Goldin

    President & Chief Executive Officer

    Dmitry Goldin serves as president and CEO of Royal Alliance Associates and is responsible for formulating and directing strategic and operating initiatives for the firm. He oversees Royal Alliance’s New York-based home office staff as it supports the firm’s 1,800 affiliated financial professionals and recruits new advisors to the firm. Career Summary Dmitry has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years having served in retail sales, operations and management capacities. He began his career in retail sales with the Principal Financial Group in 1993 and later serving in service and operations capacities with two independent trust companies in Denver. Prior to joining Royal, he was an operations manager at Charles Schwab, working with both retail and institutional clients. Dmitry joined Royal Alliance in 2000 as a regional management associate and was promoted to a senior regional management role in 2003, where he assumed overall management and supervisory responsibility for the twenty-three-state Central region of Royal Alliance. In 2009, he was promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development serving in both regional and national management roles. In this capacity, he supported key initiatives of advisor relationship management and retention, practice development, recruiting and product sponsor support. He assumed his current role in January of 2014.
